Occupation Week: Mr. Winnert, Investment Banker
The Orchard AM children welcomed into the classroom Mr. Winnert (Ryan's Dad). Mr. Winnert is an investment banker and talked to the children about how he helps people trade.
He was extremely creative in explaining his profession, as he gave each child a brown paper bag filled with small toys. They laid out their objects in front of them and those they didn't want they could trade with their friends. The children learned how to trade with one another, as well as how to go to Mr Winnert, the banker, and trade their objects for others at the bank. The children had so much fun trading!
