Kindergarten - Chinese New Year Cultural Program
Dear Parents,
We thank the Sullivan family for sharing their traditions and Chinese customs that celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year - the year of the goat. In addition, Clara and her mom taught the class words such as - good, luck, new, spring that were written in Chinese. The children were clever in playing a game that required visual discrimination. Later, the children heard a story about Chinese New Year and played the rhythm sticks to a Chinese song called “Ping Pong”. Burke Audrey, who studies Chinese, shared her knowledge of counting.
